Funeral Services for Donald L. Trigg will be held on Friday, January 13, 2006 at Grace Bible Church, Gillette at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Black Hills National Cemetery, Strugis, SD. Military Honors will be by the Sturgis, SD Honor Guard. Pastor Charles Small will officiate at both services. A Visitation will be held on Thursday, from 3-7 pm at Stevenson Wilson Funeral Home. Donald Trigg, age 66, of Rozet, Wyoming died at his home early Friday morning, January 06, 2006, of an apparent heart attack.Donald Linza Trigg was born in Alva, WY, on July 13, 1939, the son of Harold and Iva Mae (Cooke) Trigg. He attended elementary school in Elm Springs, SD and graduated in 1957 from Sturgis Brown High School. Following graduation he studied mechanics at a trade school in Minneapolis, MN, and in 1962 he enlisted in the United States Air Force where he served as an airplane mechanic. During his enlistment Donald was based in Okinawa and Thailand, and was honorably discharged in 1965. On August 28, 1971, Donald married Sharon Carlson in Slayton, Minnesota. Donald worked for Knecht's Lumber as a yard hand from 1999 until the time of his death. Prior to that, he worked for nearly twenty years as a water truck driver for Kissack Oil and Water Company. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and bowling. He was a member of the Cowboy League at Camel Lanes.Donald will be missed by his wife, Sharon, of Rozet, his two sons, Michael Dean Trigg of the family home and Allen Kohls of Gillette, and one daughter, Lori Ann Kohls of Tampa, FL. He will also be missed by three brothers: Robert Trigg of Golconda, NV, Steven Trigg of Iraq, and Kevin Trigg of Moorcroft, WY, as well as by four sisters: Jennie Trigg of Sturgis, SD, Peggy Mann of Plains, MT, Erin Trigg of Elko, NV, and Betty Trigg of Gillette. He is also survived by two grandchildren, as well as by several nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and one sister.The family has suggested that memorials in Donald's honor be sent to benefit the Grace Bible Church of Gillette.
