Funeral service for George Neill will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 6, 2006 at Stevenson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joe Spencer, Chaplain of Treasured Memories Hospice of Moorcroft officiating. Military honors will be provided by American Legion Post #42 of Gillette, Wyoming.George Neill, age 63 of Gillette, Wyoming died on Monday, January 2, 2006 at his home from complications of renal failure. George Howard Neill was born on September 6, 1942 in Denver, Colorado the son of Dyas and Lois (Simms) Neill. He attended school at Fort Morgan Elementary and Junior High. In February of 1964 George joined the United States Army. In 1967 he was honorably discharged from the Army. On June 14, 1969 George married Linda C. Waterman in Ft. Morgan, Colorado. At one time he sold mobile homes and he was also a skilled carpenter. George was a member of the American Legion in Wiggins, Colorado. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and he loved wolves.George will be missed by his 2 children: Mark Neill and Charla Neill Garrett both of Gillette, 1 brother, Paul Neill of Chicago, Illinois and 1 sister, Marilyn Batts of Ft. Morgan, Colorado.
