Alvina Alice Stillman

Funeral service for Alvina Stillman will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at Gillette Memorial Chapel with Father Cliff Jacobson officiating; interment to follow at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Alvina Stillman age 79, passed away Thursday, February 21, 2019 at The Legacy Living and Rehabilitation Center. Alvina Alice (Stoderl) Stillman was born on November 4, 1939 in Bluffton, MN to Elizabeth Anna (Peters) and Nicholas Peter Stoderl. She was raised in the Bluffton and Wadena, MN area and graduated from Wadena High School in 1957.  The summer following graduation she married Darrell Walter Stillman on June 4, 1957.  The couple raised four sons together. The family moved to Gillette, WY in 1970. The most important thing in Alvina’s life was her family. She enjoyed crafting and baking. When her sons were young she was a Cub Scout Den Leader. Alvina is survived by her husband, Darrell Stillman; sons, Dennis Gene (Dalari) Stillman of Gillette, WY; Robert Alan Stillman of Gillette, WY; Thomas Lynn Stillman of Cheyenne WY; and Steven Paul Stillman of Gillette, WY; sisters, Judy Buckholz and Lillian Frey; grandchildren, Mason (Kayla) Stillman; Myles (Savannah) Stillman; Ellie Stillman (Jason Hillard); Justin Stillman (Megan Keesling); and great-grandchildren, Roselynn Stillman and Abigail Stillman. She is preceded in death by brothers, Robert Stoderl and Clarence Stoderl.
