Midge Carson, 80, of Gillette Wyoming passed away Sunday March 18, 2018 at Close to Home Hospice House in Gillette. Born Anna Louise Wright on July 17, 1937 to Robert E. and Velma D. (Wintermute) Wright in Kingman, Arizona. Because of her small size at birth a nurse called her Midget. This nick name shortened and she would forever be known as Midge. Shortly after her birth the family moved back to the Wright Homestead 30 miles south of Gillette. She married Richard Carson at a very young age. Though this marriage ended in divorce she was blessed with 4 daughters. We became us 5 girls and were best friends. Later in life she met Ray Jensen. Although they never married, they were seldom apart. Midge loved and enjoyed 14 grandchildren. She seldom missed a sporting event or activity. She was blessed with 18 great-grandchildren ranging in age from 9 months to 18 years. She shared her love of golf with some, fondness for card games with others and always enjoyed the different dimensions they added to her life. Her love of golf lead her to Hulett, Wyoming and she was proud to be one of the founding members of The Golf Club at Devils Tower. Traveling was a passion she shared with Ray and her family. Many hours were spent driving across much of the U.S. Always up for an adventure, she visited many other countries. She saw the sights of London, went on a safari in Zimbabwe, visited Botswana, floated the Zambezi River, walked from Zimbabwe to Zambia to visit Victoria Falls, and enjoyed the wineries of South Africa. She often said if she could live anywhere else it would be Singapore. She enjoyed her time there and also ventured out to Malaysia, Thailand, India and Indonesia. She was proceeded in death by her parents, a brother, William R. Wright; companion, Ray Jensen and daughter, Deborah Lea Carson Mills.
