Benita Robling, age 66, passed away in Gillette Wyoming after a 2-year battle with cancer. Benita was born on November 22, 1957 to Robert Cassity and Opal Pauline Brammer in Dade County Florida. In November 1978 she married Glen (George) Robling and had three children, Glen Jr (JR), Travis, and Desire. They lived in many states over the years but Wyoming became home to them all. They later divorced but remained friends. Benita retired on June 27, 2020, and moved to Michigan for a brief time. She eventually moved back to Wyoming where she was diagnosed with cancer. Benita was a die-hard Chiefs fan and loved her family, especially all of her grandkids. Her heart was big and she would always try to help someone if they needed it. If you could describe her, it was sweet and simple. She didn't need all the glorious things in life, she was content with what she had. Making many friends over the years, those who grew close were just like family to her. Benita is survived by her children, Travis and Ashley Robling of Gillette, Wyoming; Glen and Lindsey Robling of Rapid City, South Dakota; Desire and Jerrod Foutch of Michigan; grandchildren, Michael, Janaya, Kingston, Dezeray, Skylynn, Dominic, and Abby; brother Alvin (Dale) and Donna Foote and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Larry. Memorial services will be held at The American Legion Monday July 8, 2024 at 1pm, followed by a potluck reception. Condolences may be sent in care of Walker Funeral Home 410 S Medical Arts Court, Gillette, WY 82716.
