Betty Jane Lloyd

Funeral service for Betty Lloyd will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, August 22, 2020 at Gillette Memorial Chapel with Pastor Gordon Harper officiating; interment to follow at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Visitation will start one hour prior to service. Betty Lloyd peacefully passed away August 7, 2020 at Glencroft Assisted Living in Glendale, AZ.  She was born November 21, 1946 to Raymond and Inez (Gunn) Ghering in rural Olivet, SD.  She later moved with her family to Wall, SD where she met and married Larry Lloyd, they had two daughters, Lona and Mona. They lived and worked in Wall until 1974, when they moved to Gillette, WY. She furthered her career in bookkeeping in Gillette until she retired from Cordero Mine and moved to Arizona in 1995.  She continued in bookkeeping until 2006. She loved being outside working in her yard, spending time with her sister Patty, and her dogs. She is survived by her daughters Lona (Mike) Lewis and Ramona (Scott) Grams, granddaughters Amanada Janzen, Sara (Dane) Schaible and great grandchildren Riley and Deonna Schaible. Sisters Carmen (Richard) Crawford, Pat McVey, brother Ray (Scotty) Ghering and many nieces and nephews.
