Brad was born in Alexandria Bay, New York and at the age of 4 moved to Pearl, MS. He lived there until his teenage years which was when he moved to Ocala, FL. He attended Lake Weir HS and Webster College where he received an Associates Degree in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services. His last employment was working for Symantec in Draper, UT, which was his dream job. He last resided in Gillette, WY with his son, Christopher Bryan Hawley, his wife Stephanie and his four grandchildren, Marshall Tucker Hawley, Alexander Madison Hawley, Gracelynn Elizabeth Hawley and Theodore Jackson Hawley. He was a parishioner of Family Life Church of Gillette. He is the son of Alan M Hawley who preceded him in death in 2016 and Theodora A Hawley 84, of Melbourne, FL. He is also survived by his three siblings, Mark S. Hawley, Michael T. Hawley and Lisa M Scott and two nieces Samantha Karls and Nichole Scott. He had many hobbies that he loved including hiking, hunting, target practice, working on cars, playing video games, cooking and playing with his grandchildren. He enjoyed the outdoors and the beautiful vistas in the surrounding area. In his earlier years, he played the trumpet and kept the love of music throughout his life. He had a great sense of humor and had an endearing nickname for all he knew. He was living with a terminal condition that he could no longer endure. Over 10 years ago he was diagnosed with two different types of brain cancer for which he underwent treatment and was living in remission. That remission ended some time ago and he lived with the everyday struggle that the disease caused as he chose not to seek treatment. He resolved to live and die on his own terms. For those that knew and loved him, he will be sorely missed. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at 10:00 a.m., at Family Life Church of Gillette, WY. Memorials and condolences may be sent in care of Gillette Memorial Chapel 210 West 5th Street, Gillette, WY 82716.
