Buell Earl Jones

Memorial service for Buell Jones will be held at 5:00 p.m., Monday, December 30, 2019 at Campbell County Senior Center, Gillette, WY. Buell Earl Jones 81 passed away on December 25, 2019 at the Close to Home Hospice Hospitality House of natural causes. Buell was born March 14, 1938 in Huron, SD to Floyd and Irma Jones.  He is survived by his sister, Carolyn Gose, his wife of 61 years Marlene Nelson Jones; two sons, Gary Jones, his wife Kathy, Gillette WY and Glade Jones, his wife Carol Jones, Burlington WA; eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Buell was raised on a small farm outside of Forestburg, SD and graduated from Forestburg High School in 1956.  He and Marlene met in high school and were married on July 3, 1958. After retirement from the SD HWY Department, Buell worked for Schwans and also Van Dykes in Woonsocket, SD.  Besides playing cards, camping and fishing; Buell loved volunteering at the Campbell County Senior Center, Gillette, WY where he served on the Board of Directors.
