Memorial service for Carol Johnson will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 19, 2018 at Walker Funeral Home with Pastor Susan Reichenberg officiating. A light luncheon to follow at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 210 West 3rd Street. Carol A. Johnson, 76, of Gillette, WY, passed away peacefully Friday, January 5, 2018 at Close to Home Hospice Center, Gillette, WY. Carol was born December 24, 1941 to Henry and Eva Severson Weifenbach in Columbia, SD. On February 27, 1959, she married Clair Johnson in Webster, SD and later divorced after having nine children. In 1994 she met the love of her life, Earl Ingraham. They enjoyed traveling together to visit family members and spending quality time together in Laughlin, NV and Deadwood, SD. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren especially the babies as well as crocheting, and making beautiful greeting cards for her loved ones. While her career paths led her in various directions, she retired from her custodial position at the Campbell County School District in 2012. Carol was the foundation of her family and will be greatly missed. Carol is survived by her siblings, Geraldine Bremmon, Norma (John) Taylor, Kenneth Weifenbach, Kathy (Glen) Heim, Roger (JoAnn) Weifenbach; significant other, Earl Ingraham; her children, Rick (Coty) Johnson, Rhonda (Art) Reich, Tony (Brandy) Johnson, Mike Johnson (Rita Weikel), Cheryl Johnson (Terry Thiel), Rodney Johnson, and Daryl Johnson; twenty-four grandchildren; and thirty-nine great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Delores Furman Selzler, Marjorie LaMoureaux, and Karen Day; brothers, Duane Weifenbach, Edward Weifenbach, Donald Weifenbach, Gerald Weifenbach, and Allan Weifenbach; and infant daughters, Carolyn and Elizabeth.
