On December 30, 2023, our beloved father, grandfather, and great grandfather Charles Floyd Musser also known as Chuck, passed away into God’s graces at the age of 84 after a long battle with dementia. Growing up, Chuck endured many journeys. One of his fondest memories as a child was growing up on the family ranch in Kaycee, Wyoming. The stories he would tell kept everyone occupied for hours. Later in life, Chuck enlisted in the Navy where he served in the Naval Intelligence Group. He traveled the world servicing our country and making memories with his family. After 20 years, Chuck retired. Chuck was a devoted loving father and grandfather. He and his family spent time in Colorado and Douglas, Wyoming. During their time in Douglas, he spent all his extra time following his daughter, Kelley, around during her rodeo years. If there was a rodeo he was helping her prepare for the big day. After Kelley graduated, Chuck relocated to Denver. During his time in Denver, you could always find Chuck spending as much time as possible with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren when they would visit. He also had a love for fast vehicles. You could say he had the need for speed. He would always make sure to include his grandchildren when he was working on one of his “fast cars.” Eventually, Chuck relocated back to Wyoming and settled in Rozet where he was able to watch his grandchildren and great-grandchildren grow up. He was quite the prankster. You would always find “gg-pa” hiding around a corner, ready to scare one of the grandchildren. Chuck had a love for horses and if he was not in the shop or with his grandkids, rest assured he was on horseback. He is survived by many loving individuals, including his daughter Kelley Marie Boltin, estranged son Michael Musser, estranged wife Evdokia Musser, grandsons, Nickolas Shawn Boltin, Brandon C. Musser, granddaughters Katie Marie Boltin, Kelsey Elizabeth Gomez, great grandsons Dexter Mindrum, Ezra Ely Gomez, great granddaughters Mylie Septka, Maci Septka, Emma Elianna Gomez, Octaveia Mindrum, Loxlee Mindrum, and Penelope Biwer. He was preceded in death by his mother Bereith Wolcott Musser and father Floyd Maurice Musser. Chuck will be laid to rest in the National Cemetery with full military honors in the Spring of 2024.
