Clyde Crabtree, 84 of Gillette, passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2020, of natural
causes at Campbell County Memorial Hospital. He was born February 1, 1936 to Hamie and Leatha (Adams) Crabtree in Wayne County, West Virginia.
Clyde moved to Gillette, WY, last summer from Sheridan, WY. He moved in with his oldest Daughter Deborah (Hampton) Monger and was spoiled by her. Everyone would tell him she spoils him, and he would say “yes yes she does, she takes great care of me”. Clyde loved being around his family, fishing, being with his dogs (Nina) and Bella. He loved watching WWE Wrestling, so much so that he would have it recorded on a DVR so he could watch them over and over again.
Clyde was preceded in death by his parents, two children Clyde Samuel Crabtree II and Leatha Rowena Crabtree, and his soul mate Marvetta “Jean” Crabtree. He is survived by his seven children, Deborah Jean Hampton (Raymond) Monger of Gillette WY, Ronald E.(Jeanie) Crabtree of Billings, MT, Steven D. (Tessie) Crabtree of Sheridan WY, Selina Hope (Joe) Crabtree of Casper WY, Shawn J. (Klaire) Crabtree of Sheridan WY, Jeffery Crabtree, Deborah Kay Crabtree (Ohio) and many grandkids and great-grand kids that loved him dearly.
