Mass of Christian Burial for Connie Hutmacher will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, November 2, 2017 at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church with Father Cliff Jacobson officiating. Gathering of family and friends will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at Gillette Memorial Chapel with a Vigil to begin at 7:00 p.m. Connie Jean Hutmacher, 74, peacefully passed away October 29th after a long battle with Parkinson disease and Lewy Body Dementia at Close To Home Hospice in Gillette, WY. She was born October 7th, 1943 in the small town of Mitchell, South Dakota to Frank and Nellie Howard. She was the second of six children. Connie was the beloved wife and best friend of her one and only love of 56 years, Dennis Hutmacher. She enjoyed cooking, sewing for the family, camping, trail riding with ATVs and traveling south for the winter. Connie was a community volunteer and willing to help anyone in need. She loved animals. She had many pets including cats, rabbits, raccoons and her beloved dogs Muffin and Lacey. Devoted mother of Debra Stevens, Tamara (Tim) Cornelius and Lee Hutmacher. Doting Grandmother of three. Connie is survived by her 3 sisters, Bonnie Abernathy, Shirley Dean, Mary Saks and brother, Ken Howard. Connie is welcomed into Heaven by parents, Frank and Nellie Howard, brother, Frankie Howard and daughter, Debra Stevens. Family request that memorials be made in Connie’s name to Close to Home Hospice House.
