Daniel Ray Blohm, 54, of Gillette, WY died at his home on August 04, 2020. Dan was born in Bismarck, ND on October 18, 1965 to Ernest and Gloria (Volk) Blohm. He grew up in Beulah, ND with his family. Dan was the oldest of 5 siblings. He graduated from Beulah High School in 1984. He worked at the Dakota Gasification Company from 1984 to 2015. He then moved to Gillette, WY and worked for one year at Basin Electric Company/Dry Fork Station. Dan enjoyed his motorcycles, four-wheeling, and snowmobiling. He enjoyed hunting and his guns. He was a bull rider as a teenager. Dan had a soft heart and loved his family. He had a good sense of humor and was always welcoming to new friendships. Dan is survived by his wife Sandi, of 10 years; son Casey (Stacy) of Hannover, ND; son Chauncey of Dickinson, ND; daughter Kendra (Mark) Carlson of Garrison, ND; granddaughters Savannah and Brynlee of Garrison, ND; parents Ernest and Gloria (Volk) of Gillette, WY; brothers David (Kathy) of Beulah, ND, Darvin (Deanna) of Spring Valley, MN, and Darren (Sherry) of Williamson, GA; sister Delora (Brian) Schmidt of Gillette, WY; and numerous nieces and nephews. A vigil and viewing will be Friday, August 7, 2020 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service is scheduled for Saturday, August 8, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Matthews Catholic Church.
