Debra Lynn Neff

Memorial service for Debra Neff will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Walker Funeral Home; inurnment to follow at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Debra Neff age 61, passed away on March 11, 2019 at The Legacy Living and Rehabilitation Center after a long battle with M.S. Debra Lynn (Hicks) Neff was born on August 28, 1957 in Manistique, MI to Sharon (Jenrerou) and Bill Hicks. She married Fred Neff on Christmas Day 1974 in Manistique, MI. The couple raised their two sons; Fredrick and Ernie. Deb loved going for rides on the motorcycle; no matter the length of the ride. In her younger years she loved to go camping, four-wheeling, hunting, fishing, and snowmobiling. She loved her time spent with her family especially her grandchildren and step-grandchildren. She was diagnosed with M.S. at an early age and has lived the last 13 years in the nursing home. Debra is survived by her husband; Fred Neff; sons, Fredrick (Robin) Neff; Ernie (Amy) Neff all of Gillette, WY; mother, Sharon Hicks of Manistique, MI; brothers, Bill (Kim) Hicks of Escanaba, MI; Steve (Shelly) Hicks of Petoskey, MI; sisters, Wanda (Ken) Hill of Gillette, WY; Rena (Gary) Watchhorn of Manistique, MI; and granddaughter, Tessa Shy (Tyler) Jundt. She is preceded in death by her father, Louis William Hicks. Memorials may be made in Debra’s name to benefit National MS Society.
