Delbert Blake

A Memorial Gathering for Delbert will take place on Wednesday, March 19th at 2:00 p.m. at Gillette Memorial Chapel.

 Delbert John Blake 43, passed away in the early morning hours of March 7, 2025. He was born in Gillette, Wyoming on January 25, 1982. Delbert spent his childhood in Campbell County where he would also graduate high school from Campbell County High School in May of 2000. He made his living working in the oil fields around Gillette. He grew up in rural Campbell County surrounded by his parents and siblings, Delbert was the youngest of four children. He loved all animals, with cats being his favorite and he has had many cats throughout his life. He enjoyed going to the mountains and going fishing and walking around in the outdoors. Delbert married Ana Halvorson on December 29, 2003, in Las Vegas, Nevada. To this union one son was born, Delbert Abe Blake. Delbert loved his son very much and enjoyed spending time with him. Delbert and Ana were later divorced. Delbert was proceeded in death by his sister Laura Blake, his maternal grandfather, John H. Collins, his paternal grandparents, Delbert A. Blake and Ruth Blake. Delbert was very much loved by his family and friends and will be dearly missed by all. He is survived by his son Delbert Abe Blake, his parents Mark and Deborah Blake, sister Bonnie LaPointe (Kevin), his brother Shawn Blake (Vickie), maternal grandmother Carol Hart, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
