Diane was 59 years old and she was living in Gillette, Wyoming when she passed away at her home on June 29, 2024. She was born on July 22, 1964 in Lewiston, Idaho to Ronald and Lola Coffland who preceded her in death. After high school Diane attended nursing school in Post Falls, Idaho graduating with her LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) license in 1992. Diane served in numerous fields during her nursing career but her favorite was in the field of Geriatrics. Her warm smile and caring touch will be missed by many. Diane was enjoying a career change after moving to Gillette working with senior transportation. She enjoyed her clientele and co-workers very much but had to leave them in order to have heart surgery in 2023. Diane enjoyed her Boston Terrier, Jack, crocheting, reading books of all genres, Scifi movies, and action TV shows. Diane always had a decisive opinion of current events which coupled with her dry sense of humor often lead to engaging debates. She believed in transparent equality for everyone and everything. Diane is survived by her fiancee/partner of 15 years, Jane Thimmesch; sibling BeaJay Davis; nephew Trent Davis; sons Nic (Kim) Thimmesch, Jon (Jenn) Goeders, and Dan (Brenda) Goeders; 11 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, brothers-in-law Bruce (Kathy) Gilbaugh, and Roger Rousey, nephews Daniel and Steven Rousey. A Celebration of Life event for Diane will be held at a future date to be announced. Memorials may be sent in care of Walker Funeral Home 410 S Medical Arts Court, Gillette, WY 82716.
