Don was preceded in death by both parents; his Sister, Donna Joyce; and his two grandbabies, Sadie and Aliyah.

His achievements include 4 MSM awards, non-commission officer, instructor, Army accomplishment medal, and the Army Achievement Award, in addition to multiple other accomplishments.
Don was stubborn, but also one of the strongest, most humble, and most giving people, wholeheartedly dedicated to his girls, family, and country. He was never without a camera and won multiple awards for his amazing wildlife photography. He loved travelling, fishing, was an avid hunter and endowed life member of the NRA. He enjoyed sharing stories and was a big supporter of Tunnel of Towers, St. Jude, and the Wounded Warriors.
Arrangements are pending to allow time for the many he touched throughout the country to gather.
In lieu of flowers or donations the family asks you support a charity such as Tunnel of Towers, St. Jude, Wounded Warriors, or any of the many wildlife charities. Condolences may be expressed at gillettememorialchapel.com or mailed to 210 W. 5th St, Gillette, WY 82716, care of THE NEAD FAMILY.
