Memorial service for Floyd Bowles will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at Walker Funeral Home with Pastor Grant Clark officiating. Floyd Eugene Bowles died at age 53 in Casper, WY at the Wyoming Medical Center on June 6, 2023, peacefully and surrounded by family. He was born in Riverside, CA on January 10, 1970 to Rebecca and Norman Bowles. In his early years he attended Colton high school alongside lifelong friend Max. He graduated from high school in 1988. After high school he joined the Army and was honorably medically discharged in 1991. Later in life he attended Grantham University and attained an Associate’s Degree in Medical Coding and Billing. He met his wife Michele in December of 1991 in Grand Junction, CO. They married January 29, 1994 and had two children. His life career was in Truck part sales. He worked as a salesman most of his years in Grand Junction, CO, Joplin, MO, Sioux City, IA, Cherokee, IA, and Council Bluffs, IA until medical issues in 2015. In 2021 he moved to Gillette, WY to be closer to family. His hobbies included fishing, golfing, and playing online games with friends and family. Later in life he learned to build computers. He loved the Lord in his own way and was baptized in the early 90’s. He attended church throughout most of his life. Notably he was a member of Vineyard Christian Church of CO, Victory Life Church of IA, and Journey Church of WY. He is survived by his wife Michele, son Caleb, and daughter Sara. His family includes sisters Norma-Jean Bowles-Atteberry, Debbie Hart, Joyce Patrick, and Cindy Brewer and brothers Lester Patrick, Anthony Patrick, and Paul Patrick.
