Gail Marie Bentz

Gail Marie Bentz, at the age of 55, left us Wednesday, December 20, 2023  at the Banner Medical Center in Casper, WY. She was surrounded by her husband Ron, children, and family. Gail was born March 4, 1968, on the family farm in Sioux County Nebraska. Gail was never one to live life slowly; she was always going 100 MPH and took life’s challenges by the proverbial horns. She was deeply in love with her husband Ron and cared immensely for her children: Jessica, Barbie, Justin, Kaylyn, Shawn, Jesse, and Karina. Her many grandchildren were continually the objects of her affection and attention. She also loved her cats, often referring to them as her fur babies. She was a social butterfly and loved to bring family and friends together to make memories.  Gail’s many hobbies included hunting, yard sale deal hunting, going on adventures with her best friend and husband Ron, spoiling her grandchildren, going to races and collecting flags, hanging out with work friends, playing darts, and working on her home. Gail loved her job, being a coal miner was a major part of who she was. She got a kick out of telling people that she played with giant adult Tonka toys for a living. Gail was also proud of her farm girl roots and country values. She was never afraid to roll up her sleeves, get dirty and work hard. She could often be seen lending a helping hand to a neighbor or friend. Gail had a big, generous heart and was never shy about helping with her time and resources. Most importantly, Gail was a woman of faith, while rarely outspoken about her faith, she professed a deeply held faith in the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal savior. Gail is preceded in death by her father, maternal and paternal grandparents, and children: David and Kaylyn. Gail leaves behind her husband, children, grandchildren, mom, siblings, many family members, friends, colleagues, and neighbors. The love and memories she left behind will be carried on through her many friends and family.
