Funeral service for Jack Hayworth will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 26, 2019 at Gillette Memorial Chapel with Pastor Ernie Bishop officiating. Visitation will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, April 25, 2019 at Gillette Memorial Chapel. Jack Hayworth age 79, of Gillette, WY passed away Thursday, April 18, 2019 at his home of natural causes. Jackie Lars Hayworth was born on August 10, 1939 in Sundance, WY to Violet (Cushman) and Doyle Hayworth. He attended school in Hulett, WY. He worked for Johnson Sawmill during high school. He also worked for Neiman’s Logging; Rock Island Trucking; Flint Engineering; and for 25 years for Black Hills Trucking from 1971 to 1996. Jack enjoyed shooting sports, hunting, spending time with family and friends, drinking coffee at Lariat Café and shooting the breeze with friends and discussing politics. He also liked geology, archeology and arrowhead hunting. He was a proud supporter of NRA, St. Jude, Fallen Officers and Wounded Warrior Project. Jack is survived by his children, Tony (Sarah) Hayworth of Gillette, WY; Yvette (Jim) Sessions of Wright, WY; Lisa Doherty of Spring Creek, NV; and Yolanda Norsworthy of Riverton, WY; brothers, Derald Hayworth, Roger Hayworth, Verlin (Marsha) Hayworth all of Carlile, WY; Tim Hayworth of Seattle, WA; Cyrus Hayworth of Rapid City, SD; sisters, Wanda Hayworth of Sultan, WA; Sarah Roth of Carlile, WY; and Susan Hayworth of Montana; along with eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Dan Hayworth; grandsons, Lyle Sessions and Joshua Doherty. The family ask that memorials be made in Jack’s name to benefit the American Legion Post #42 Drill Team.
