James Edwin McCue

James McCue age 85, passed away at Campbell County Memorial Hospital, Wednesday, January 9, 2019 of natural causes.  He was born April 20, 1933 to Aurist and Helen McCue in Gillette Wyoming.  He met Docia Connally in high school, they were married in 1952.  They had a daughter,Kay Haberstroh; a daughter, Peggy Fleck; and a son, James McCue.  James worked as a plumber at Powder River Heating and Air, and a rancher for the remaining years in Gillette, Wyoming.  He retired and moved permanently to his ranch outside of Gillette in 2002.  He enjoyed his family, friends, grandkids, great grandkids, and anything ranch related.  He was the most devoted father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend to all.  He is preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and one sister.  He is survived by his wife, Docia McCue of Gillette, Wyoming; his sister, Thelma Dexter; daughters, Kay and Richard Haberstroh of Gillette, Wyoming; Peggy and Don Fleck of Rapid City, South Dakota; son, James and Lisa McCue of Gillette Wyoming; granddaughters, Kylie Medina of Arvada, Colorado; Michelle Vinatieri of Las Vegas, Nevada; Cori McKenney of Gillette, Wyoming; Heather Heth of Lusk, Wyoming; three great granddaughters; and six great-grandsons.  Memorials and condolences may be sent in James’s name in care of Gillette Memorial Chapel 210 West 5^th Street, Gillette, WY 82716.  Condolences may also be expressed at www.gillettememorialchapel.com
