Jeannette Theresa Avery

Mary Jeannette Theresa (Bocash) Avery, our loving mother, passed away peacefully of natural causes on September 6th, 2023 at her care facility in Sundance, Wyoming.  Jeannette was 90 years old and surrounded by family and friends when she passed into the loving arms of our Lord.  She was the wife of Gerald E. Avery, to whom she was married for 71 years.

Jeannette was born eighth of ten children to Alfred Bocash and Malvina (Bilodeau) Bocash on September 25th, 1932 in Londonderry, New Hampshire.  Jeannette's joy came from her two children, Jerry Avery and Ann (Avery) Cournoyer, as well as her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.  She was a loyal, strong, selfless, and amazing mother.  Throughout her working years, she had many jobs, but her favorite was working for the State of New Hampshire in the lab.  She was a hard worker and retired at age 70.  Jeannette's hobbies included reading, bowling, and crocheting.  She treasured spending time with her family and going on cruises.

Jeannette leaves behind her husband, Gerald Avery; son, Jerry Avery (Stacey) of Moorcroft; daughter, Ann Cournoyer (Robert) of Moorcroft; sisters, Lucille Bourgeois of Manchester, NH and Cecile Demers of Hernando, FL; 5 grandchildren, Jamie Gatchell, Jerrad Avery, Fawn Younkin, Cheryl Burr and Samantha Soesbe; 7 great grandchildren, Preston Snider, Avery Burr, Jaxson Avery, Bailey, Daisy, Pepper, and Weston Soesbe; 1 great-great grandchild, August Vermillion.
