Funeral service for Kandi Lish will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 18, 2020 at Walker Funeral Home. To protect the health and safety of all, services are currently limited to 10 people in attendance as required by state authorities and CDC. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, April 17, 2020 at Walker Funeral Home; this too we will only allow the limited attendance of 10 in the building at one time at a rotating basis; we encourage the wearing of personal protective equipment. Kandi was born on September 24, 1972 in Buffalo, WY to Odis Lish Sr. and Karon (Noblett) Lish. She attended Bible Baptist Academy, Hillcrest Elementary, Twin Spruce Junior High and earned her diploma from Campbell County High School. Kandi later went on to earn her Associates Degree from Gillette College. After school she worked various jobs including Little Caesars, Avis Car Rental; where she made lots of friends. In 1993, she began her life career with AMAX Coal and stayed with Belle Ayr and Eagle Butte mines until her passing on April 14, 2020. Kandi enjoyed traveling, visiting her many nieces, nephews, family and many loved ones. She enjoyed going to the lake; Keyhole. Another passion of hers was couponing and shopping- getting the best deal she could. She enjoyed playing on her iPad which included games but mostly Hay Day with her mom. She loved spending time with her friends at Old Chicago. She was crazy about flowers, spending time watering and dead heading her favorite flowers. She had a real love for bird houses, snowmen and also the Tasmanian Devil. Her fashion sense of Batman clothing, skulls, crosses and fashion boots will always be remembered. Kandi is survived by her father, Odis Lish Sr of Gillette, WY; mother, Karon (Don) Noblett of Havana, AR; brother, Odis Lish Jr. of Huntington, AR; step-brother, Travis (Cathy) Carroll of Highlands Ranch, CO; sister, Beth (Quent) Olson of Evans, CO; step-sister, Jenni Lint of Gillette, WY; many nieces, nephews, and a host of friends and co-workers. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Raymond, Phyllis, Neil, and Margurerite; stepmother, Teresa (Carroll) Lish; aunts and uncles, Edgar, Phillip, Sharon, Richard, and Rita; and very special friend, Willis Burks Jr. Memorials and condolences may be sent in care of Walker Funeral Home 410 Medical Arts Court, Gillette, WY 82716.
