Kevin E. Crawford, (62), of Gillette, WY, went to be with the Lord peacefully at his home, on December 1, 2023. Kevin was born on May 16, 1961 to Willis and Kathryn Crawford in Gordon, NE. He spent much of his child school years in the Hot Springs area, before the family settled in Upton, WY. Kevin was most proud of his Nebraska heritage. Kevin graduated from Upton High School in 1980, where he married, (and later divorced) Debbie Holmes (Foltz). From this union they had three girls; Trisha, Michelle, and Kristina, whom he was very proud of. The family moved to Gillette, WY in 1989 to build a life where Kevin furthered his career in the Oilfield as well as running equipment for Construction. He was very proud of his work accomplishments, specifically; running a scraper. In recent years, his health and the toll of the job forced him to retire, but he missed the work greatly. Never one to slow down, Kevin had many hobbies; his favorite being woodworking and anything that got him outside. He enjoyed any work with his hands, always tinkering around, turning “junk” into “treasure”. Kevin loved his friends and family deeply and genuinely cherished every memory spent with them. Above all, Kevin cherished his role as a grandfather the most. They were his pride and joy, and he loved “being a kid” with them. His goofy antics and contagious laugh were sure to bring a good time. He will be remembered for his care free, easy going nature, crazy shenanigans, and his daily dose of chocolate milk. He will be deeply missed by many. Kevin is survived by; his mother, Kathryn Crawford (Rushville, NE); his daughters, Trisha Stieg (Mike), Michelle Bruce, Kristina Reynolds (Paul); grandchildren, Katelen, Matthew, Taylor, Tyler, and Sophie (all of Gillette); his brother, Stan Crawford (NE); three nephews; as well as numerous uncles, aunts, and close friends. He is preceded in death by; his Father, Willis Crawford; his Grandparents; his uncle, Art Crawford; and niece, Jamie Crawford.
A memorial service will be conducted for Kevin on December 16th at the Gillette Church of Christ beginning at 1pm, with a time of fellowship to follow immediately at the facility. Memorials and condolences may be sent in care of Gillette Memorial Chapel 210 West 5th Street, Gillette, WY 82716
