Linda K. Sloat

Celebration of life for Linda Sloat will be held from 1:00p.m. to 5:00p.m., Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Arbuckle Lodge, Linda K. Sloat 67, of Gillette, WY passed away on Sunday, November 5, 2017 surrounded by her family at Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire, WI. Linda was born on June 17, 1950 to Roda and Evelyn (Burlum) Jungerberg in Wisconsin. She graduated from Fall Creek High School in 1969. She married Rick Sloat on May 3, 1975 at St. James Trinity Lutheran Church in Fall Creek. Linda loved to go camping and ride motorcycles. She was an avid football fan and would always root for her favorite team the Minnesota Vikings. She also enjoyed gardening and crafting. Linda loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Linda is survived by her husband Rick Sloat of Gillette, WY, daughters; Traci (Keith) Schroeder Ragels of Cheyenne, WY, and Jamie Sloat of Gillette, WY; grandchildren; Madison and Morgan Rounds and Ryan (Kiara), Carter, and Raeder Overfield; great-granddaughter; Amelia Overfield; brother, Clark (Carolyn) Jungerberg of Fall Creek; her beloved dog; Cricket; sister and brother in laws, Karen (Alan) McCoury and Ronnie Sloat; several nieces and nephews. Linda is preceded in death by her parents Roda and Evelyn; step-father, Orvin Canestorp; in-laws, Gerald and Kathryn Sloat; and son in law, Doug Overfield.
