Lois Marie Perkins

Memorial services for Lois Perkins will be held on Friday, October 5, 2018 at 11:00 am., at Family Life Church in Gillette, Wyoming, with Pastor Marty Crump officiating. 

Lois Marie McClure was born January 16, 1941 in Gillette, Wyoming to Tillie and Lloyd McClure.  She passed away on October 1, 2018, after a long illness.

Lois grew up in Gillette, Wyoming.  She met her husband, Gary when she was a young girl.  They were married May 25, 1958.  She was blessed with three daughters, Sharon, Penny and Christie.  In 1973, they moved to Powell, Wyoming, and then to Cloverdale, Oregon in 1992.  During her working career, she worked as a bookkeeper and owned her own business doing custom embroidery.

Lois and Gary later returned to Gillette to live, where they both became active in the homeowner's association for Green Valley Estates.  She was also an active member of Family Life Church. 

Lois loved crocheting, cross-stitching, and all other kinds of crafting.  She enjoyed making things for family and friends.

Lois was a calm and loving spirit.  She also had a great sense of humor.  No matter her circumstances, she was always cheerful and happy to see you. She will be missed by many.

She was preceded in death by her parents.  She is survived by her husband Gary, her daughters, Sharon Laddusaw (Robert), Penny Love (Larry), Christie Hederman (Bob), seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.  She is also survived by her three sisters, Mary Scott, Meta Bowker and Linda Shober, and numerous nieces and nephews.
