Mandy Marie Reynolds, 49 of Rozet, WY passed away on Tuesday October 22, 2024, at UC Health in Highlands Ranch, CO after a battle with breast cancer.

Mandy was born on Sept 15, 1975, in Winner, SD. Mandy was a spirited child that kept her family on their toes. Mandy graduated with the class of 1994 at Campbell County High School. She attended Casper College graduating with her associates degree.

Shortly after she moved back to Gillette, Mandy met the love of her life, JC Reynolds. Mandy and JC married April 18, 1997. She continued her education at Gillette College while working for Kissack Water & Oil.

They welcomed Taylor John in 1999 and Morgan James in 2000. She was active with the boys’ sports and activities, that passion extended to her nieces and nephews as she also attended their sporting events and supported all their endeavors.

Mandy pursued her true passions at the Campbell County Extension Office in 2011. In her 13 years, starting as an Administrative Assistant and then was hired as the Horticulture Program Coordinator. As an Administrative Assistant she was the first face folks saw, building so many relationships in all areas of Extension. She helped organize 4H rodeo and the annual 4H camp. She absolutely loved the kids! She moved into the Horticulture Program Coordinator position in 2020. She put her heart and soul into the programing. She created the Jr. Master Gardner’s Program in Campbell County, eventually championing all over the state. She over saw multiple programs including Campbell County Master Gardeners, Junior Master Gardeners, and three Community Gardens in Gillette and Wright. Her excitement for horticulture and science was contagious, the kids loved her, and she loved them. She trained many of the interns in the office and may have corrupted a few.

Mandy was a founding member of Paint Gillette Pink helping to raise money for NE Wyoming cancer patients. Mandy and JC were a driving force in raising funds to put the permanent PET/CT at the Heptner Cancer Center.

Before anything else, Mandy and JC were truly the best of friends. Mandy cherished spending time with her family, friends, and her beloved dogs. She enjoyed spending time in the outdoors camping. She thrived on the time she got to spend with her boys and grandkids. Every minute meant the world to her. She loved to crochet and made blankets for babies all around the county.

Mandy was one of the strongest people many knew. She was strong, solid, fair, and fun.

She is survived by her husband JC Reynolds, of Rozet, WY; sons Taylor (Aspyn) Reynolds of Wright, WY; Morgan (Josie) Reynolds of Rozet, WY; parents Rick and Becky Eischeid, of Gillette, WY; brothers Brent (Kate) Eischeid of Gillette, WY; Chad

 

(Ashley) Eischeid of Gillette, WY; Grandfather Cliff Eischeid of Carroll, IA; in-laws John and Sally Reynolds of Rozet, WY; sisters-in-laws, Lexi (Chad) Bulkley of Gillette, WY; Lisa (Travis) Bomengen of Thermopolis, WY; JaNel (Dane) Carr of Rozet, WY; grandchildren, Wren and Quin Reynolds and Katherine Reynolds. Nieces and nephews, Carson, Reece, and Cali Eischeid and Berkley and Boston Eischeid and Logan and Wyatt Bulkley along with Braidy Schaffer, McKenna, Cody, and Kanon Bomengen and Liam Carr. Many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is preceded in death by grandparents, Gayle and Bobby Long and Jean Eischeid. Great-grandparents Roseland Jordon and Bob and Sylvia Long. Uncles, Tim, Kevin, and Jody Long. She also had a special relationship with Claude and Millie Kissack. There were so many people in her life that were so special to her and that loved her.

Visitation will take place at Gillette Memorial Chapel, Sunday November 3, 2024 from 3pm-6pm. Funeral Services are planned for Monday, November 4, 2024 at 10am at New Life Church. A private family burial service will be at 3pm at Rozet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may made to the Northeast Wyoming Healthcare Foundation or Campbell County Jr Master Gardener Program. Mandy, you are loved and missed beyond words. We will forever cherish the moments we shared with you and hold them close to our hearts. May God rest your precious soul and bring comfort to the hearts of your loved ones during this time of grief. Rest in Peace, our sweet Mandy girl.
