Marie Ellen Noonan

Funeral services for Marie Ellen Noonan will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 1, 2024 at Gillette Memorial Chapel with Kenna Rose officiating; interment will follow in the Moorcroft Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, June 30, 2024 at Gillette Memorial Chapel. Marie Noonan, age 86, of Gillette, Wyoming, died on Sunday, June 23, 2024 at the Legacy Living and Rehabilitation of Alzheimer’s. Marie was born on September 2, 1937 in Oshoto, Wyoming. She was the daughter of Ezra and Dorothy Terry. She was raised in Oshoto attending rural schools until high school when she attended Campbell County High School in Gillette. While in high school, she met and married John Noonan on February 14, 1953. Marie worked a few jobs before retiring from Campbell County School District in 2001. In her spare time, she liked to crochet, cross-stitch or embroider, or do anything with crafts. She loved to work outside in her yard and garden. Marie is survived by her children Terry Noonan of Phoenix, Arizona; Debbie (Dick) Wallace of Gillette, Wyoming; granddaughter, Tonya Wallace of Gillette, Wyoming. She is preceded in death by her husband, John Noonan, her parents Ezra and Dorothy Terry, one brother, and two sisters.
