Maynard Lee Soland

Memorial service for Maynard Lee Soland will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 12, 2017 at Walker Funeral Home with Chaplain Gordon Harper officiating. Maynard “Lee” Soland age 72 passed away on Monday, October 9, 2017 at Campbell County Memorial Hospital of natural causes. Maynard Lee Soland was born on March 25, 1945 in Westhope, ND to Leona and Bill Soland. Lee attended school in North Dakota where he also graduated from high school. Lee moved around a lot in his youth and ended up in Worland, WY; where he met his wife Peggy Ann Clark. The couple moved to Gillette, where they married and made their home. Lee started his own construction business; remodeling and building decks and patios. Lee had a passion for Elvis Presley music, loved working with wood and playing pool. He also loved to fly model airplanes and rockets. Lee is survived by his wife; Peggy Soland, son; Donovon Soland, granddaughter; Nico, sisters; DeVerne, Nelda, Marsha and Lola, brothers; Harold, Byron, and Marvin. He is preceded in death by his parents; Leona and Bill Soland, grandson; Thorne, sister; Sharon, brothers; LaVerne, Bobby, David, Marshall, and Kevin.
