Michelle Raven Young

Celebration of Life for Michelle Raven Young, 58, of Gillette, will be Friday, April 1, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at Family Life Church with Pastor Marty Crump officiating. Michelle passed away peacefully surrounded by those who love her. Michelle was born in Flint, MI and was raised by her mother, Linda Metevier. After graduating from Kearsley High School, she earned her degree in Animal Science. She was very passionate about animals, specifically dogs. Michelle owned and operated Ravenwood Kennels, breeding Pekingese. in 2002, Michelle was married to Nave Young. The two moved family and dogs to Gillette, WY in 2008. Michelle loved spending time with her family and adored her beautiful granddaughters. Most of her day was caring for her dogs and making their lovely home. Michelle will be remembered and missed by husband, Nave Young; daughters, Chelsea, Samantha and Scarlett; granddaughters, Emma and Willa; mother, Linda Metevier; along with brother, Ron Metevier.
