Richard John Steyh

Richard John Steyh born June 17, 1944, left this Earth on September 5, 2017 to join his parents William John Steyh and Beatrice Joann (Smith) Steyh and his brother William Steyh Jr. Richard “Dick” was raised and educated in Butte, MT. Dick graduated and then married and enlisted in the US Navy. After his tour of duty he returned home to Butte, where he enrolled in the Vo-Tech and became an electrician. Dick enjoyed his trade with the Anaconda Company until its closure. He then moved to Gillette, WY where he worked for North Antelope Coal and then he finished his career with Coronado. Before Dick’s retirement he moved to Pine Haven, WY. Dick enjoyed boating, fishing, hunting, and spending time with his good friends including his son-in-law; Kim Broden who has been by his side until his death. Dick is survived by his sister; RoseAnn Dooling, children; Richard John Jr., Bobbie Broden, Rachel Doherty, Ronald Steyh and Matt Pernio. He was blessed with many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
