Funeral service for Robert Bloir will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 1, 2017 at Gillette Memorial Chapel. Visitation will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, August 31, 2017 at Gillette Memorial Chapel. Robert “Bob” W. Bloir, age 98 of Buffalo, WY passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2017 at Amie Holt Care Center in Buffalo, WY. He was born one mile south of Midian, KS on February 2, 1919 to Mr. and Mrs. Virgil and Irma Bloir. Robert attended high school and junior college at Eldorado, KS. He served his country during WWII as an Administrative NCO in the US Army Air Force. He was a member of the American Legion. He married Theda Cunningham upon leaving the service and they had one child, Ginger. They have both preceded him in death. Robert spent the larger part of his employment years working in the Oil Field Supply business. He was employed as manager of Dura Supply Co. in Gillette, WY, at the time of his retirement. He enjoyed watching football, hockey, and baseball games on T.V. and spent a lot of time partaking in the many activities at the local Senior Citizen Center. Robert is survived by nephews; Steve (Ame Holden) Cox and Jeff (Melanie) Cox, nieces; Ava (Howard) Walt and Dana Bell, along with numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
