Ronald Dean Grimm

Ron “Grimmy” Grimm, 72, a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend passed away April 8, 2024 peacefully at his residence in Gillette, Wyoming.

Ron was born on September 2,1951 to Robert and Dorothy Grimm of Billings, Montana. Ron grew up in Billings and was active in sports during his childhood. He graduated from Billings West High School in 1969.

Following graduation, Ron married Debbie Violett in 1971 and welcomed two children, Christina and Isaac. After starting his career in motor rewinding at Tree Electric, Ron moved to Gillette in 1980 and continued his career for the next five decades at Tree Electric, E.M.S. and Sulzer. He was a dedicated employee and hardworking man with a giving heart.

In 1998, Ron married Gina Wortman and welcomed a daughter, Delaney.

His hobbies included golf, bowling, pool, darts and vintage cars. He would always have a story to share (embellish), the winnings he acquired and how work could not run without him. He was the life of the party and a friend to everyone he met. He loved classic rock and attending rock and roll concerts over the years.

Ron was blessed with three grandchildren Zachary Milliron, Shaelea Milliron, and Rylee Grimm.

Ron is survived by his wife Gina Grimm; children Christina (Randy) Milliron, Isaac (Autumn) Grimm, Delaney Grimm and step-son Joey Wortman-Nielsen; three grandchildren, Zachary (Megan) Milliron, Shaelea Milliron, and Rylee Grimm; siblings Larry, Gail, Curt, Carol and Teri as well as many nieces and nephews. Ron was preceded in death by his parents.

Grimmy will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He truly was one of a kind

A Celebration of Life will be held at Bell Nob Golf Course Clubhouse on Monday, April 15, 2024 at 4:00 PM.
