Sharon Kay Dean

Memorial service for Sharon Dean will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Gillette Memorial Chapel with Chaplain Donnie Edwards officiating. Sharon Kay Dean (Niemitalo) 71, passed away February 3, 2018 after a long battle with cancer. She was born on July 23, 1946 in Stanley, ND.  She was loved by many. Sharon worked various jobs until she met her husband Tom. They were married until Tom passed away. Sharon was a very loving person. She had a great sense of humor but could be ornery as a goat at times. She could crochet like no other. Sharon leaves behind for sisters, Candace Means, Susan Ferguson, Jill Ogle, and Ginger Uran all of Gillette, WY; brother, Jack Niemitalo of Hutchinson, KS; children, Robin Schempp, April Brandt, Jamie Van Berkom all of Gillette, WY and Misty Bird of Newcastle, WY, along with many grandkids and great-grandkids. She is preceded in death by her father, Matt Niemitalo; mother, Leona Zimmerman; brother, Shelton Richard and husband, Tom Dean.
