Sharon Gayle Linn

Memorial services for Sharon Linn will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Grace Bible Church with Pastor Daryl Hilbert officiating. Sharon requested a Celebration of Life, so the family requests that everyone dress comfortably (shorts, t-shirts, and jeans) just as Sharon would have liked. Sharon Gayle (Arndt) Linn age 72 passed away peacefully, Tuesday, September 12, 2017 surrounded by her family. Sharon was born on July 20, 1945 to William and Marie (Ebel) Arndt. Joining two sisters; Marlyn and Jan, and later brother; William was born.  In January 1962, she married Jerome Ketterling. To this union three children were born, Terri, Tracy and Bradley. This marriage was dissolved by divorce in 1977. In 1978 she married Gene Linn and inherited two sons, Ed and Paul. Gene and Sharon were best friends, lovers and soul mates. Sharon enjoyed gambling and seemed to do better when she left Gene at home. She enjoyed the gambling junkets and her annual two week Igo adventures. Sharon also enjoyed fishing and had a habit of embarrassing Gene with the poles. Sharon is survived by her husband, Gene Linn; mother, Marie Arndt; sisters, Marlyn (Roger) Roth and Jan (Jerry) Roth; brother, William (Karen) Arndt; daughters, Terri (Gabe) Ortegon, Tracy (Richard) Self; sons, Bradley (Hannah) Ketterling, Ed (Patty) Linn and Paul Linn. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father, William Arndt and dearest friend, Roy Igo Jr. The family request that memorials be made in Sharon’s name to Pilots of Christ or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
