Teresa Kaye Barnette

Teresa (Terry) Kaye Barnette passed January 26, 2018 at Close to Home Hospice after a short battle with cancer. Teresa was born March 7, 1960 in Gillette, WY the daughter of Ellis and Lois Richards. She was raised and educated in Gillette, WY. After graduating high school Terry married her high school sweetheart and the love of her life Robert Barnette on October 7, 1978. To this union a son (Greg) and daughter (Cassie) were born. Terry enjoyed spending time with her family especially cheering her kids on in the sports that they played. She was always their biggest fan. She was a very supporting mother and a very devoting wife. The last 7 years of her life she was a stay at home wife, she loved spending time in the kitchen making delightful dinners and delicious desserts for her husband. When Terry wasn’t in the kitchen she spent her free time building puzzles. Terry is survived by; her husband Robert Barnette, her son Greg (Desiree’) Barnette, her daughter Cassie (Darin) Dowling, her parents Ellis and Lois Richards and her Brother Bill Richards, all of Gillette, WY. 7 grandkids and 1 great-granddaughter. Terry is proceeded in death by her grandparents. A celebration of Terry’s life will be held at a later date for family and friends that were near and dear to her.
