Mass of Christian Burial for Tim Jahner will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 6, 2020 at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church with Father Bryce Lungren officiating. Vigil will be held at 6:30 p.m., Sunday, July 5, 2020 at Gillette Memorial Chapel. Timothy (Tim) Michael Jahner, 65, of Gillette, WY gained his angel wings after fighting a courageous battle against cancer on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at Campbell County Memorial Hospital surrounded by his loved ones. Tim was born July 23, 1954 to Simon and Bertha (Degele) Jahner in Dickinson, ND. He graduated from Regent High School in 1972 and attended North Dakota State University graduating in 1974. Tim moved back to Dickinson and on June 11, 1976 married Renee Paul at St. Wenceslaus. He started a career in the oil field that lasted for 40+ years. He enjoyed golfing, traveling, and spending time with his grandchildren. As an instigator, he not only liked playing pranks on his friends as well as his grandchildren. Timothy is survived by his spouse of 44 years, Renee Jahner of Gillette; children, Jennifer (Travis) Castelli of Sundance, WY; Juliane (Cory) Albrecht of Gillette, WY; and Scott (Brittany) Jahner of Cheyenne, WY; grandchildren, Lydia Castelli, Tamsin Castelli, Caycen Albrecht, Madison Albrecht, and Caylynn Jahner; parents, Simon and Bertha Jahner; three brothers, Kevin Jahner of Georgia; Simon Jr. (Janet) Jahner of Indiana; Michael (Ana) Jahner of Florida; three sisters, Laurinda Morris of Florida; Pamela (Mike) Cain of Minnesota; Mariella Pachl of Arizona. He is preceded in death by father-in-law, James Paul; mother-in-law, Marilyn Paul; brothers-in-law, Clay Morris and Gary Pachl; sister-in-law, Lauren Jahner; and nephew, Ryan Cain. A memorial has been established in Tim’s name to benefit the education of his grandchildren.
