Travis Leroy Snell

Memorial service for Travis Snell will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at Gillette Memorial Chapel with Pastor Ernie Bishop officiating; inurnment to follow at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Travis Leroy Snell 46, of Gillette, WY passed away Friday, April 5, 2019 at Campbell County Memorial Hospital due to a heart attack. Travis was born February 23, 1973 in Gillette, WY to Irene (Fredrickson) and Sam Snell. He was born with cerebral palsy. He has always been the one to never let anything stop him. Travis attended BOCES and RENEW growing up. If you ran across Travis during the day, you would see a huge smile on his face. Travis loved spending time with his best friend and mother, Irene. He enjoyed bickering back and forth with his dad. Travis always enjoyed going on outings with his friends. He participated in the Special Olympics and loved Special Prom. He also like flirting with as many girls as he could. In August 2014, Travis moved to Life Connections and found the spot he loved to be after losing his mom. Travis is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ivan; and nephew, Trevor. He is survived by his sister, Debbie (Mike) Dawson of Olathe, KS; nephews, Connor, Eric, and Tanner (Kira) Dawson all of Olathe, KS; nephew, Sam Snell; sister-in-law, Cindy Snell; special family friends, Floyd and Shirley Donaldson of Rozet, WY; and Jennifer and Chris George of Rozet, WY. In lieu of flower memorials may be made in Travis’ name to benefit Life Connections.
