Troy Alan Holm, 63, of Gillette, passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at Campbell County Health, after a long illness. Memorial services begin at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 10 at First Presbyterian Church, 511 Carey Ave. in Gillette, with Chaplain Jerry Taylor officiating. Troy was born March 22, 1962, to Bill and Jamie Holm in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He graduated from Wayzata High School in Wayzata, Minnesota, in 1980. He was employed for 14 years by Rockwell International as a production assembler. He spent his adult life caring for his parents until their deaths. Troy then moved to Gillette in 2010, to be closer to family. While in Gillette, he worked for Tidbits newspaper, delivering to local businesses. Due to illness, Troy became paralyzed in 2018. He moved to the Legacy Living and Rehabilitation Center, where he lived until his death. His favorite pastimes included bingo with residents at the Legacy. He enjoyed spending time with his sister, as they would take “walk and rolls” together. Using a wheelchair accessible vehicle, Troy was able to attend holidays and special events with his family. He was an animal lover, and a diehard fan of all Minnesota sport teams. Troy is survived by his brothers, Michael (Linda) Holm, Brad (Deb) Holm, and Bryan Holm; sister, Michelle (Tony) Geffre; nephews, Ryan, Tyler, Brett, and Scott; nieces, Cori, Kelley, Alexa, Emma, and Sarah; great-nephews, Carter, Carson, Cole, Donovan, Zander, Fynn, and Brooks; great-nieces, Quinn, Hayley, Madison, Saya, Hadley, and Annie; and one great-great-nephew, Nathan. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; and his beloved fur babies, Sage and Elijah. All memorial donations will be presented to the activities department at the Legacy Living and Rehabilitation Center.
