Ursel Willrodt

A visitation for Ursel Willrodt will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Friday, July 24, 2020 at Walker Funeral Home; a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Ursel Willrodt  age 56, of Moorcroft, WY died Monday, July 20, 2020 at her home. Ursel Willrodt “Ulla” was born January 1964 in Duisburg, Germany. Her parents were Gunther and Helga Blech. After school, she started an apprenticeship as a butcher and salesperson and finished up with a master’s degree. And she worked as a cab driver, nurse in a senior citizen home, and as a coordinator for a cleaning company. The last year she was involved in house cleaning to help many of their friends. Ulla was married to Andreas Willrodt. They came to Gillette, Wyoming in 2002 due to the job opportunity in coal mining at Eagle Butte and Belle Ayr mines. She was a proud American citizen after her Naturalization Process. Her passion was dogs; she had two. She loved and enjoyed their company, friendship, and loyalty all her life. Another passion and hobby were motorcycle riding with family and friends; she also loved her home and gardening. The favorite time of the year for Ulla was Christmas time. She loved to decorate the house from the inside and outside. Baking cookies and to cook. She enjoyed all the time to have friends and family in the house. She is survived by her husband; children, Sabrina Adamitz, Patrick Willrodt, Timo Willrodt, and Tobias Willrodt all of Germany; also, five grandchildren ranging in age from 22 years old to one year old all from Germany. She is also survived by four sister and one brother in Germany. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorials be made in Ulla’s name to benefit your local animal shelter.
