Funeral service for Victor Riley will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at Walker Funeral Home with Clayton Kiewel officiating; interment to follow at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Visitation will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday, April 30, 2018 at Walker Funeral Home. Victor Riley age 75 passed away Thursday, April 26, 2018 at Close to Home Hospice in Gillette, WY. Victor Frank Riley was born on July 5, 1942 in Valentine, NE to Marie (Overman) and Alva Riley. He grew up in Interior, SD. He married Dianna Petranek on August 1, 1969 in White River, SD. The couple moved to Gillette, WY in 1979. Victor worked construction and then went to work operating heavy equipment at Eagle Butte and Belle Ayr Mine. He was an outstanding mechanic and could work on anything. He enjoyed going to auctions with his buddies, snowmobiling, fishing with family, and going to Deadwood with his wife while she was alive. Victor is survived by his daughters, Lynn (Ed) Weir of North Las Vegas, NV; Kris Jabs of Windsor, CO; Jill Pierce (Bill Muhm) of Boxelder, SD; brother, Bill (Lura) Riley of Moses Lake, WA; sisters, Ramona (Carl) Nollen of Runnells, IA; Rose White of Wall, SD; grandchildren, Robyne, Ryne, Nicole and Erica Weir; Bryce and Adam Jabs; Ashley and Branna Pierce; Cody and Taylor Muhm; great-grandson, Daniel McMains; along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. His is preceded in death by his wife, Dianna; parents; and sister, Juanita.
