Gathering of family and friends of Wayne Kaiser will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Friday, January 12, 2018 at Walker Funeral Home. Wayne Kaiser age 63, passed away Friday, January 5, 2018 at Campbell County Memorial Hospital of complications from COPD. Wayne Allen Kaiser was born May 22, 1954 in Sterling, Colorado to August Kaiser and Anna (Hochnadel) Kaiser. Wayne spent the first 2 years of his childhood living on the family farm in Crook, Colorado with his parents and 2 older siblings.  In 1955 the family moved to Denver, Colorado and the five of them lived in a one-bedroom apartment until his parents could save enough money to purchase a home in Lakewood, CO.  He resided in Lakewood until he was finished with his schooling.  Wayne participated in numerous outdoor activities.  He loved to hunt, fish, camp, boat, ride motorcycles, ride ATV’s, golf, bowl, and enjoy life. His employer transferred him to Gillette, Wyoming in 1988, he then married Gerri Fouts in 1995 and after living several years in Gillette, they moved to 35 acres near Keyhole Reservoir. Wayne is survived by his wife of 23 years, Gerri; brothers, Stan and Eugene; sister, Judi; stepchildren, Michelle, Toby and Mark; nephews, Ken and Jeff; and niece; Shauna.
