William Craig

On August 6, 2017, Bill Craig of Gillette, WY, formerly of O'neill, NE, passed away at his home surrounded by loved ones; after a long battle with COPD. Bill was born in O'Neill, NE on August 9, 1940. He graduated from St. Mary's in O'Neill in 1959, and then served in the United States Navy. On May 20, 1961 he married his high school sweetheart Sandra (Perry) Craig. Bill and Sandra had two children, Kim (Craig) Patterson and Monte Craig, both of Gillette.                Bill and Sandra lived in O'Neill and several other Nebraska communities until 1977 when they moved their family to their forever home in Gillette, WY. Bill drove truck and Sandra worked at CCMH as a surgical technician for several years, and then she began a daycare service.                  After 56 years of marriage, Sandra passed away on March 9, 2017 in Gillette, WY. Bill joined the love of his life a short five months later. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, he will be missed by many.                  He is survived by their two children, four grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
