Graveside service for William Robinson will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, September 28, 2018 at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery, Inspiration Gardens with Pastor Dale Grubbs officiating. A luncheon will be hosted following the service at the American Legion, upstairs. At the luncheon there will be time to share memories and watch a memorial DVD. On Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 1:00 p.m., Military Honors provided by American Legion Post #42 Drill Team at Mt. Pisgah Inspiration Gardens. Please join his family and friends to remember this amazing husband, father, grandfather, and friend we all knew and loved very much.
William G. (Bill) Robinson born February 25, 1947 to Warren (Kit) and Charlyne Robinson in Ephrata,WA passed away on September 19, 2018 after his battle with cancer. Bill served in the U.S Navy during the Vietnam War. He went on to become a Heavy Equipment Operator. Bill was a family man first and foremost. He enjoyed family gatherings and fishing with his grandchildren. Bill enjoyed spending time with his friends Norm and Bobbie Schnaible, Rex Barlogi, Jim Haney, Keith Far, Chris Bonter, Susan Glanzer, Joann Lankford, Maggie Lankford, Billy Shoemaker, Daryle Issak, and Dawn Summers.
Bill is survived by his wife, Mary Robinson; children, Cinnamon Swecker (Mitch Ostmeyer); Cathy Alleman; Devin Vance (Jared Vance); and Amelia Robinson (Josh Ogden); 13 grandchildren, William Swecker; Ashly Holt; Chantel Ross; Tyler Lindaur; Trey Alleman; Katie Alleman; Alex Vance; Jaden Vance; Ethan Vance; Michaela Odell; Blake Odell; and Jennifer Morfeld; 7 great-grandchildren; brothers, Dave and Reece Robinson; and sister Judy Leigh. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Donna Morfeld; granddaughter, Virginia Swecker (Dodd); parents, Warren and Charlyne Robinson; and his mother-in-law, Jessie Duncan.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to The Fisher House in Aurora Colorado 1954 Quentin St., Aurora, CO80045 in care of Tessa Levy. This is the veteran house for Veterans receiving medical care. It is free housing to military veterans and their families during illness.
